"Half tax"

The way half-tax (in November or December) and zero-tax (in June or July) works is that the company deducting your taxes, deducts extra on purpose throughout the year.

In other words, it's not less tax, it's just paid more in the other months. The total tax that you pay to the government per year is still the same.

Through PayoutPartner, we deduct exactly the % stated on the tax card, in accordance with Norwegian tax regulations and rules.
You can set the percentage yourself in your tax card on the tax authorities' website, here. Next year, once the tax office gathers all your income from all sources, they will assess whether you have been paying correctly or should pay more or get a refund.
For example: if your tax rate is 10% and you suddenly earn 1.000.000kr and you still pay 10% tax this year, then next year you'll get a very large tax bill.
